M-commerce popularity keeps rising among French online shoppers – study

French online shoppers are increasingly relying on their smartphone to make their purchases, with 39 percent of them embracing m-commerce, according to a survey commissioned by e-commerce federation Fevad. Take-up was up 7 and 15 percentage points over the past twelve and twenty-four months respectively. The majority are also using the smartphone for other important aspects of the shopping process, with 56 percent researching products and a similar proportion keeping track of online purchases.
