M-net activates G.fast network in Munich boroughs

German regional network operator M-net has activated its G.fast DSL/fibre network in Munich boroughs Hasenbergl and Hartfhof. The roll-out started in July 2016 and now offers inhabitants of those boroughs to order broadband services with speeds up 300 Mbps. The speeds will be upgrade to 1 Gbps in the future. The roll-out is part of M-net's plan to expand its fibre/DSL network to 30,000 more households in Munich, complementing the 350,000 households already passed by its network.
