M-Net fears DeTe re-monopolisation of broadband

Bavarian regional fixed network operator M-Net feels that Deutsche Telekom's latest vectoring plans validate its pending lawsuit against the regulatory order for the vectoring expansion from 2013. M-Net fears that Deutsche Telekom wants to bring the infrastructure competition in Germany to a halt. The German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) will hold a preliminary hearing on 13 March. M-Net worries that former monopolist Deutsche Telekom will solely carry out the broadband expansion if BNetzA does not send out a clear signal when assessing the Telekom application to roll out VDSL in 5.9
