M-net introduces fibre broadband at 300 Mbps

Tuesday 4 November 2014 | 13:06 CET | News
German regional network operator M-net introduced new broadband connections of 300 Mbps for downloads and 30 Mbps for uploads on 3 November in Munich. The Federal Association for fibre connections (BUGLAS) promotes the expansion of fibre networks to buildings and households, where this is economically feasible. M-Net said the new services are future-proof, offering a high amount of spare capacity. More than 1.5 million households in Germany can currently use a FTTH connection.
