German regional operator M-net has recorded a 50 percent increase year on year in internet traffic and telephony since the beginning of the coronavirus crisis. Traffic stabilised at the same high level after the summer. Upstream traffic has more than tripled due to home schooling and home working and the company has seen an increase of 30 percent in video and music streaming. The demand for the company's product during the pandemic also increased, with significant rises in subscriptions for private customer connections at over 300 Mbps and for bandwidth upgrades by business customers.
