M-net starts pilot project for internet at up to 100 Mbps in Main-Kinzig district

German regional network operator M-net said it has launched a pilot project in the district of Main-Kinzig to increase internet bandwidth from the current 50 Mbps to up to 100 Mbps in download and up to 20 Mbps in upload. The network in the towns of Rodenbach, Freigericht and Hasselroth was upgraded, and the new tariff Surf & Fon-Flat 100 Regio Spezial was launched. The price of the new tariff is EUR 49.90 monthly, including a minimum contract period of 24 months.
