MABUHAY ACQUIRES PASIFIK SATELLITE

Mabuhay Philippine Satellite has acquired from Pasifik Satelit Nusantara an Indonesian satellite. The satellite is set to be repositioned at a 144 deg E longitude orbital slot on 01 August 1996, covering Asia and the Philippines. Space Systems and Loral Space & Communications have been commissioned to make Mabuhay I.
