Macra warns of severe punishment for abusers of cybercrime act

The Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA) has warned that the authority will punish all abusers of the internet because they are contravening the cybercrime act. Corporate communications manager Clara Mwafulirwa said the communications regulator, the Information and Communications Technology Association of Malawi (ICTAM) and the Youth Ne and Counselling (Yoneco) is calling upon all stakeholders in the country to raise awareness and promotion of safer internet.
