Magine sees sales jump ahead of digital switchover

Online TV service Magine said it's signed up record new subscribers in the run-up to Germany's switch to DVB-T2 free-to-air TV. The company said it had its most successful sales day ever on 26 March, signing up customers "in five digits", ahead of the switchover the night of 28-29 March. Magine has been promoting its offer with its Basic package available for EUR 6.99 per month for the first three months, down from EUR 20.97.
