Magyar Telekom, Budapest University, Ericsson partner on 5G research network

Magyar Telekom, the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME) and Ericsson Hungary have launched a 5G research and development project. Leveraging spectrum provided by Magyar Telekom for BME's educational and research purposes, Ericsson built and operates a 5G test network. The partners plan to explore the potential use of 5G-based products in agriculture and smart manufacturing.
