Magyar Telekom revenue falls 13% to HUF 159 bln in Q4

Magyar Telekom Group saw its total revenue for Q4 2016 decline by 13.2 percent year-on-year to HUF 158.8 billion, mostly as a result of the partial exit from the energy business along with lower SI/IT and fixed-line revenues. EBITDA was unchanged year-on-year at HUF 43.8 billion. In Hungary, total revenues decreased by 14.6 percent year-on-year to HUF 138.49 billion in Q4. The company passed its 2016 revenues forecast of HUF 595 billion, reaching HUF 602.7 billion for the full year 2016. For 2017, the group expects revenues to be HUF 560 billion, EBITDA at HUF 182 billion and capex of HUF 85
