Magyar Telekom to switch to digital cable TV from 01 August

Tuesday 9 June 2015 | 14:52 CET | News
Hungarian operator Magyar Telekom has announced that, from the end of summer, it will switch its analogue cable TV signal to digital. The change, implemented gradually and not affecting local TV reception, will not have an impact on the monthly fee or channel line-up. Customers using CRT TV models will need an appropriate digital box, which the operator will provide free of charge. The quality upgrade, starting from 01 August, will be implemented at different times depending on the regions.
