Magyar Telekom's number of gigabit access points exceeds 2 mln

Magyar Telekom said its network's number of gigabit access points exceeded 2 million after vast investments into its fixed network's development. This means that Telekom can offer gigabit services to 40 percent of homes and businesses in Hungary. The company has introduced the gigabit network in 710 settlements under the population of 5,000 residents.
