Main One invests NGN 41.3bln in broadband infrastructure

Main One Cable Company says it has invested NGN 41.3 billion in broadband infrastructure in Nigeria and across West African countries, The Punch reported. CEO Funke Opeke said the company had invested USD 240 million in its submarine fibre cable and has spent another USD 15 million on expansion since the commercial launch in July 2010, to drive broadband connectivity in Nigeria and other African countries. She said the company would continue to build its broadband infrastructure in Nigeria, Togo, Ghana and the Republic of Benin. Opeke said the company also plans to extend its services to
