Major LatAm Airline picks iPass for pilot connectivity

Global Wi-Fi provider iPass announced a contract with an unnamed multinational airline headquartered in Latin America to provide door-to-door connectivity for its pilots. The deal will allow the airline's employees to automatically connect to the best data network available using the iPass SmartConnect service. Pilots will be able to connect to millions of iPass Wi-Fi hotspots, automatically transitioning back to cellular when Wi-Fi is not available. The airline will also be able to manage how its devices connect, providing automatic connections across all iPass terrestrial and inflight
