Majority of German professionals still available for work during holidays

The majority of German professionals (71%) can still be reached for working reasons during Christmas and New Year's holidays, according to a survey of the digital association Bitkom. Two out of three (66%) can be reached on holidays this year because their superiors would expect them to be available, 48 percent because their colleagues expect a reply to calls, and 26 percent are available for customers.
