Majority of Germans would not use mobile banking apps to wire money - Bitkom

Germans who use online banking apps on their smartphones or tablets predominantly use them to get an overview of their bank account balance, according to a survey of 1,006 people by the German digital association Bitkom. It said 95 percent of respondents using banking apps do so to check their account balance, and 69 percent said they receive push notifications and messages when money is deposited into their accounts or they go into overdraft, found Bitkom.
