Majority of US households have at least one HDTV set

Among households in the US, 81 percent have at least one high definition television (HDTV) set, and about 52 percent of all households have multiple HDTVs. Five years ago, 46 percent of US households had at least one HDTV, and 17 percent of households had more than one HDTV, according to new consumer research from Leichtman Research Group (LRG).
