Malaysian operators to invest MYR 1 bln to support customers during Movement Control Order

Malaysian operators have announced a list of initiatives to help customers remain connected during the ongoing Movement Control Order (MCO) designed to fight the covid-19 pandemic. Celcom Axiata, Digi, Maxis, U Mobile, Telekom Malaysia, and Time dotcom also report that their dedicated teams will work around the clock to ensure network and connectivity service levels are maintained. Telecommunications is classified as an 'essential service' under the MCO.
