Malta operators grow in fixed broadband, pay-TV segments in H1

Subscriber growth was recorded across all segments of Malta's electronic communications sector, with take-up for fixed broadband and pay-TV outpacing other sectors in H1, according to data from Malta's telecommunications authority MCA. The pay-TV sector reflects a continued shift towards uptake of IP-based digital services as well an expansion of service portfolios and changes in price plans, increasingly tailored for the need of end-users.
