Marvell introduces VectorBoost for G.hn deployments

Marvell unveiled its new cloud-based VectorBoost technology to complement its G.now platforms, offering Elastic Capacity Provisioning, increased peak capacity and virtualization of the broadband access network. The new technology is on display at Mobile World Congress and available now to customers. Based on Marvell's G.hn silicon compatible with the ITU-T standard, the VectorBoost technology improves the throughput of G.now lines by allocating network resources in real time according to the current needs of traffic, overcoming the throughput limit imposed by the lines' crosstalk and
