Marvell announced its highly integrated Andromeda Box IoT platform made for Brillo, Google's new operating system (OS) based on Android, with native support for Weave communication protocol. Powered by Marvell's system-on-chip (SoC) application processors, networking and wireless connectivity technologies, the Andromeda Box is designed specifically for the rapid prototyping and development of IoT gateways and smart devices. It natively supports the Weave protocol, enabling phones and devices to talk to each other locally and remotely through the cloud.
