Masmovil dominates Spain mobile number ports in February

The Masmovil group continued luring customers from Spain's three leading operators in February, according to the monthly mobile portability figures published by website Movilonia. Masmovil's main brand gained a total of 33,600 lines, while its Yoigo, Pepephone and LlamaYa brands added 32,800, 2,500 and 5,300 lines respectively for a net total of 74,000. Orange, Movistar (Telefonica) and Vodafone, meanwhile, shed nearly 123,000 subscribers, led by Orange with 54,700 net losses, offset by gains of 6,800 and 4,400 at its Jazztel and Simyo brands.
