Masmovil took 400,000 mobile lines from rivals in 2017

The Masmovil group ended 2017 as the big net winner in Spain's mobile number porting figures, taking some 400,300 lines from its rivals in the 12 months ending on 31 December, reports El Pais. Masmovil's Yoigo, Pepephone, Masmovil and Llamaya brands seized customers from the country's mobile network operators (MNOs), all of which posted significant losses from number porting, led by Vodafone with a negative figure of 245,260 lines, followed by Orange with 137,340 net losses and Movistar (Telefonica) with 129,550.
