Mauritania relaunches public tender for 2G/3G/4G licences

Wednesday 13 February 2019 | 14:46 CET | News
Mauritania's telecom regulator, the Autorite de regulation de Mauritanie (ARE), has relaunched the public tender for 2G/3G/4G networkdevelopment and exploitation licence, reports Ecofin. The move follows the failure of the first tender, launched in October 2018, and ignored by operators. Once again, two types of licences are offered. The first is a 4G license for operators already owning a 2G/3G licence. The second is a 2G/3G/4G licence for new operators willing to offer telecommunications services locally.
