Maxcom revenues down 24% to MXN 366 mln in Q2

Mexican triple-play operator Maxcom Telecomunicaciones reported revenues of MXN 366 million in the second quarter of 2019, down around 24 percent year on year on a consolidated basis as a result of its ongoing plan to wind down its retail segment to concentrate on its business and wholesale units which now account for 56 percent and 35 percent of sales respectively. Consolidated EBITDA for the quarter was MXN 58 million on the basis of the new IFRS 16 accounting standard, down 67 percent year on year due to the sale of 72 telecommunication towers recorded in Q2 2018, which generated MXN 148
