Maxcom signs MVNO deal with Telcel

Thursday 18 June 2015 | 11:19 CET | News
Mexican telecoms operator Maxcom has announced that it has signed an agreement with Telcel (America Movil) to launch an MVNO covering 93 percent of the country's territory. In a statement to Mexico's market regulator, Maxcom confirmed it will have full control over the mobile services offered under the new MVNO. Maxcom already has an agreement with Telefonica Mexico to offer MVNO services over the Movistar network. Earlier this year, America Movil launched its own MVNO, called Alo, offering mobile plans and phones for prepaid subscribers.
