Maxis Q1 results fall in line with FY outlook

Tuesday 30 April 2019 | 10:40 CET | News
Malaysian operator Maxis reported a drop in Q1 results, hurt by a decline in wholesale revenue, termination rate cuts and continued weakness in the prepaid segment. Service revenue dipped 1.7 percent to MYR 1.947 billion, and normalised EBITDA fell 6.6 percent to MYR 953 million, also impacted by investment in new fibre broadband and enterprise offers.
