Maxis starts system upgrade for Hotlink prepaid customers

Malaysian operator Maxis has announced that it will start a system upgrading exercise for its Hotlink prepaid customers. The process includes two phases, with the first phase scheduled for launch on 22 April. The exercise may have an impact on certain transactions, the company said. The impacted customers will be notified via SMS. During this upgrade period, customers are still able to make calls, use mobile internet and send SMS as usual.
