McDonalds UK installs Aircharge wireless charging points

McDonalds will install wireless charging spots in 50 of its UK restaurants, after signing a deal with Aircharge, the Telegraph reports The deployment will consist of 600 charging points which work with a few compatible handsets at present, including the Lumia 930 and Nexus 6. Lexus said the NX model would be available with a Qi charger later this year. So-called Qi hotspots are started to appear at retail sites around the world, including Tea Leaf and The Coffee Bean in the US. Virgin Atlantic is expected to install some at Heathrow and JFK.
