MEA PC devices market posts strong growth in Q4

Thursday 25 February 2021 | 09:54 CET | News
The Middle East and Africa (MEA) personal computing devices (PCD) market, for desktops, notebooks, workstations and tablets, recorded strong growth in the final quarter of 2020, according to International Data Corporation (IDC). Shipments in the region were up 7.9 percent year-on-year to 6 million units, making Q4 2020 one of the best-performing quarters of the last few years, as end-users still needed them to work or study remotely, said Fouad Charakla, IDC senior research manager for client devices in the Middle East, Turkey and Africa.
