MEA personal computing device market shrinks by 5% in Q4

The Middle East and Africa (MEA) personal computing devices (PCD) market, for desktops, notebooks, workstations and tablets, declined by 5.0 percent year on year in Q4 2018, according to International Data Corporation (IDC). Its Quarterly PCD Tracker shows that shipments fell to around 5.6 million units for the three-month period. The biggest declines in Q4 were in Turkey and the 'Rest of the Middle East' countries, which are Iran, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Afghanistan and Palestine.
