MEA personal computing devices market falls in Q2

The Middle East and Africa (MEA) personal computing devices (PCD) market, for desktop computers, notebooks, workstation and tablets, declined 9.1 percent year on year in Q2 amid weakening consumer demand, according to International Data Corporation (IDC). The report shows that 5.1 million units were shipped during the quarter. Tablets still account for the highest volume share of all PCD categories but they are continuing to lose popularity at a steady pace.
