Media Broadcast to operate ARD and ZDF's DVB-T2

German broadcast and media services provider Media Broadcast has signed several multi-year agreements with public broadcasters ARD and ZDF for DVB-T2 HD, which will launch its regular operation on 29 March. After completion of the switch in 2019, every programme of both broadcasters will be transmitted via approximately 150 sites with about 430 channels on DVB-T2. Up to 20 public programmes will be broadcast in full HD.
