Media Broadcast to test use cases for TV production using 5G campus network

Media Broadcast said it plans to test use cases for TV production using 5G components on its 5G campus network in Nauen near Berlin, which it started to operate on 15 December. The 5G tests will cover portable recording with wireless cameras and microphones, and integration of IT and command signals to the feed into the studio. Connectivity, data throughput, latency, susceptibility to failure and reliability will be examined and tested with different parameters.
