Mediacom picks Cisco to upgrade network to Docsis 3.1

US cable operator Mediacom Communications deployed the Cisco cBR-8 converged cable access platform (CCAP) within its 22 state network footprint. With support from the Cisco cBR-8, Mediacom will fully upgrade its network infrastructure to the latest Docsis 3.1.
