MediaMarkt-Saturn to expand customer service at home

German retail chain MediaMarkt-Saturn plans to start offering customers more technical assistance at home. In an interview with WirtschaftsWoche, CEO Pieter Haas said the company was pleased with the results of a pilot project in Hungary, where Media Markt took over the electronics department in two markets of Tesco. As a result it's decided to expand the test to other locations and develop the services as a new source of revenue.
