MedMinder users Gemalto M2M module in next-gen pill boxes

US medication management system company MedMinder is using Cinterion M2M technology from Gemalto for mobile connectivity of its next-generation of pill dispensers. MedMinder's smart pill dispensers, equipped with the Gemalto Cinterion PHS8 M2M module, monitor medication usage and send data from the pill box over mobile networks to a central server. Physicians and caregivers can log on to MedMinder's secure web interface to observe medication adherence and manage changes when necessary.
