Megafon to deploy links to Chukotka towns when deploying Arctic Connect

Russian operator Megafon has signed a cooperation agreement with the government of the Chukotka region, reports Cnews.ru. The parties will cooperate on the deployment of the backbone line Arctic Connect, a subsea backbone line set to run from Europe to Asia. Megafon will deploy links to the towns of Anadyr and Pevek when deploying the backbone line.
