Melita rolls out 5G-ready mobile network with Ericsson

Melita has rolled out what it calls the most advanced mobile network in Malta. This 5G-ready mobile network already covers 85 percent of the Maltese Islands, with full coverage to be achieved by end-2018. The operator said it's the first operator in Europe to complete a nationwide 5G-ready network. Melita selected Ericsson in March as its strategic partner for its upgrade to 5G.
