MENA pay-TV revenue to dip 20% by 2021, legitimate sales up

Pay-television revenue in the 20 Middle East and North Africa (MENA) countries will reach USD 4 billion in 2021, down from USD 5 billion forecast in the last edition, according to a report by Digital TV Research. The report says legitimate pay TV revenues will reach USD 4.12 billion by 2022, up by 17 percent from USD 3.52 billion in 2016. Five countries will contribute more than three quarters of the region's pay TV revenues in 2022.
