Meo acquires 10-year TV rights to Rio Ave matches

Portuguese football club Rio Ave has announced the signing of a TV rights agreement with pay-TV operator Meo. The agreement takes effect from the 2018/19 football season and will last for ten years. The value of the deal was not disclosed, under a confidentiality clause established between both parties. In addition to the TV contract, the agreement between Rio Ave and Meo also covers static advertising at the stadium and on shirts for the next twelve-and-a-half years, with immediate effect.
