Meo boosts sports coverage with NBA TV

Portugal Telecom's pay-TV unit Meo has acquired the exclusive distribution rights for NBA TV in Portugal, reports Jornal de Negocios. The new channel will ensure the live broadcast of the NBA, WNBA and NBA D-League championships, as well as specials and documentaries on the sport, plus programs dedicated to the big stars of the sport. NBA TV will be available on channel positions 32 and 174 of Meo's TV platform, as well as on mobile devices via the Meo Go service.
