Meo reaches deal with four football clubs

Portuguese operator Meo, owned by Altice, has managed to reach TV rights agreements with four Portuguese football clubs, reports Record. The contracts, valid for nine seasons in three optional packages of three years, could enable the clubs to earn EUR 3-5 million per year, or around EUR 30 million in nine years. The news follows the recent announcement of rival operator Nos that it signed a TV rights contract with the Benfica football club.
