Mercado Livre leads Brazil e-commerce sites

Serasa Experian has launched the Hitwise e-Commerce indicator, offering monthly rankings of the most popular Brazilian online shopping and classifieds sites. The first list for February 2013 was led by Mercado Livre Brasil (10.11% share of visits), Americanas.com (4.80%) and Buscape (3.47%). The top 10 also includes Dafiti (3.35%), Bom Negocio (3.05%), OLX (2.78%), Netshoes (2.74%), Shopping UOL (2.52%), Casas Bahia (1.87%) and Groupon Brasil (1.86%). The categories of website that generated the most traffic to shopping sites were search engines (27.29%), social networks and forums (17.52%),
