MetroFibre buys Link Africa's FTTH assets in Gauteng, Kwa-Zulu Natal

Open access fibre network provider MetroFibre has acquired the FTTH network and infrastructure of Link Africa in Gauteng and Kwa-Zulu Natal, adding another 10,000 homes passed. The deal was effective from 01 April, with a transition period that is expected to be completed by the end of June. Once it is concluded, MetroFibre will have passed 205,000 homes in five provinces, putting it among the top five fibre network operators in South Africa by homes passed.
