Mexican consumer portal ends Q1 with 7,373 complaints

The "Soy Usuario" online consumer platform received a total of 7,373 complaints in the first quarter of 2017, more than double the 3,179 complaints registered in the previous quarter, according to the country's Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT) and consumer protection agency Profeco. A total of 2,606 of the complaints corresponded to mobile telephony services, 1,898 to pay-TV services, 1,765 to mobile equipment, 620 to fixed telephony and 318 to internet services.
