Mexican fibre lines up 25% to 4.6 mln in Q3

The number of mobile lines also grew, rising 3.4 percent year on year to over 121 million, said the IFT, with around 77.2 percent of data traffic transferred via 4G technology, up 1.2 percentage points compared to the third quarter of 2018. The watchdog added that the country's 19 MVNOs accounted for just 1.5 percent of the Mexican mobile market in Q3, and 1.9 percent of the mobile internet sector.
