Mexican internet users up 3 mln to 74.3 mln in 2018

Mexico reached 74.3 million internet users in 2018, up 4.2 percent or 3 million on the year-earlier result, according to the latest annual ICT survey conducted by national statistics agency Inegi together with communications ministry SCT and telecommunications regulator IFT. Around 65.8 percent of the population aged 6 or over is now online, up 2 percentage points year on year, with women making up the majority (51.5%) of internet users.
