Mexican mobile data usage up 20% to 4.3GB a month in Q2

The total number of mobile lines in Mexico fell to just over 119 million at the end of the second quarter of 2020, down by nearly 3 million lines compared to December 2019, according to the latest data from the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT). Around 96.4 million of the mobile lines had internet access at the end of June, up around 4 million year on year, with average data usage soaring 20 percent year on year to 4.3GB.
